What is Alcar Health?

Alcar Health empowers FQHCs to better serve their patients by providing enrollment and staff augmentation solutions.

How was Alcar Health formed?

Alcar Health was founded by Alex Carrillo in the fall of 2010 with the purpose of building a small consulting team that would focus on innovation, technology and building bridges between different organizations for meaningful collaboration and positive outcomes. By the end of 2018, he decided that the big focus would be in working and serving FQHCs, and in 2019, he began to build unique partnerships with service companies that would provide solutions to the FQHC sector. In 2021, the team began to grow and now has a total of a dozen key team members between employees, consultants and division partners and an additional 200+ indirect team members who service Alcar Health clients.

What services does Alcar Health offer?

Alcar Health offers supportive services for FQHCs. We provide consulting, Medicaid/Medi-Cal and Medicare enrollment, contact center augmentation and healthcare talent acquisition.

There is no other firm offering all the unique services we offer. We combine the experience we have from our team and partners to provide these solutions in a one-stop shop. We leverage our specialized partners, which gives us the ability to scale, and we focus on making sure our partners deliver quality work to our clients and that they give back and support our clients.

We currently have 22 FQHC clients, 2 FQHC "lookalikes," 1 IPA, 1 ECM client and 1 Medicaid health plan.
